Christianity is one of the world religions (along with Islam and Buddhism). Christianity arose in the second half of the 1st century in the eastern provinces of the Roman Empire. The main thing in the Christian doctrine of the God-man Jesus Christ is the son of God, who came down from heaven to earth, accepted suffering, death, and then rose to atone for people from original sin.

Today there is no single Christianity with one creed, cult and ritualism. In Christianity, there are three areas: Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Protestantism and many different sects: spiritual Christians, Baptists, Adventists, Jehovah's, and the like. The basis of Christianity lay the doctrine of the sacrifice, the Divine Savior of humankind.

Following the teachings of Christians, man is the perfect creation of God. God loves all people equally, and destines eternal bliss in unity with Him for everyone.

Christianity calls for more care about the soul than about the body, but does not reject the material principle, striving to maintain harmony of the spiritual and physical principles of each person.
